Konik graduated with a Ph.D. from UIUC in Fall 2022. He now works at Google, Mountain View, California.

I was a Ph.D. student under Prof. Ivan Dokmanic in the Electrical and Computer Engineering department at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. I was exploring physics-based learning paradigms for scientific inverse problems and I have recently been  interested in some fundamental aspects of generative modeling and their applications to inverse problems.  

Before starting my PhD, I earned my Master's in Mechanical Engineering working on computational modeling for crosslinked polymeric materials and studying shear stress in granular materials under Prof. Yuhang Hu and Prof. Ahmed Elbanna. I did my undergrad from IIT Delhi studying mechanical engineering. 

I love Indian chai, like racquet sports and pretend to like running and hitting the gym.
